Master Gardeners Class
“Citrus & Nut Trees in
the Foothills” on June 19th, 9am-Noon, at the Amador County GSA Building,
12200-B Airport Road, Jackson. The class will cover what citrus and nut
varieties do well in the foothills, the ones that are marginal, and the
ones that are very difficult to grow. In addition we will discuss how to
grow them and how to protect frost tender plants. Please join us for this

4-H meetings throughout gold country
Amador Bonsai Society Club
The Amador Bonsai Society's meetings are held the
second Saturday of each month. The June 12th meeting will be held at the
Ridge Road Garden Center in Pine Grove starting at 9 a.m. There will be a
general meeting to be followed by a raffle of starter bonsai's. The
members will be preparing for their Bonsai Show which will be held on the
26th of June at the Ridge Road Garden Center. Bonsai supplies will be
available for purchase at our meeting. You may contact Jan at 295-5536 for
