The  Garden Center has created wonderful display gardens that wind across a sloped garden area. Sound familiar? Many of us have just this type of garden area here in the foothills. Come and see the charming plantings created for this display garden. As you drive by the nursery, the colors in the garden, the height and different growing structures grab your attention; you want to stop! So come on in! Truly a four-season garden display, you can see something of interest in every season of the year. Textures, different heights, a medley of assorted green hues also add to a garden's interest. Imagine these in your garden setting.

Perennials, ground covers, grasses, annuals, vegetables, roses, vines, herbs; you will find all this and more planted in an appealing design at the Ridge Road Garden Center's Display Garden.  Fragrant Daphne, Sweet Olive, and Sedum Autumn Joy are wonderful four-season plants; Mahonia's notched leaves are wonderful in the garden, and turn red in the cool fall air; shrubs like Viburnums are magnificent stalwart plants blooming when not much else is in the winter landscape; snowberry has surprising berries and the hardy perennial Snowball shrub is delightful in a home garden. Pansies and Petunias are perky most of the year, and  mums and asters bloom in fall! Come by soon and see how the 'bones' of the garden make great structural interest and how some plants feed the birds in cold winter days.

Visit our display garden; see how a four-season garden can increase garden enjoyment throughout the year. Bulbs can be planted now for a great spring show! Stagger your plantings of bulbs, corms, and rhizomes for extended spring and summer blooms. Try new bulbs this year, there are so many spectacular varieties to enhance your gardens.

Check out Daphne shrubs, they love the cooler weather, and are wonderful  in early spring with flowers that carry great fragrance. Rhodos are wonderful in gardens, with gorgeous spring bloom as are their cousins, the Azalea. We are continuing to plant the display gardens with you in mind. Talk with one of our skilled gardeners soon to help with your garden designs.
